Senior MEP Manager – Real Estate & Museum Development

About the role

The Senior MEP Manager will lead all Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health engineering activities for a museum development project within Al Futtaim Real Estate. The role spans the full project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with UAE codes, sustainability targets and the overall vision of the development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead MEP design, coordination, construction supervision and commissioning from concept to handover.
• Develop and maintain the MEP delivery strategy, advise senior leadership and manage technical risks.
• Review and approve design submissions, calculations and ensure integration with architectural and specialist exhibition systems.
• Oversee on‑site MEP works, monitor contractor performance and resolve interface issues.
• Secure authority approvals, coordinate fire & life‑safety systems and ensure compliance with civil‑defence requirements.
• Drive sustainability initiatives, LEED compliance and energy‑efficiency measures across the project.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering or related field.
• 20+ years of experience delivering large‑scale MEP projects, preferably in museums or cultural facilities.
• Extensive knowledge of UAE regulations, LEED standards and fire‑life‑safety codes.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder‑management abilities in complex, multi‑disciplinary environments.
