Senior Sales Commercial Officer

About the role

Siemens Digital Industries is looking for a Senior Sales Commercial Officer in Dubai. The role acts as a commercial partner to Sales throughout the opportunity lifecycle, covering bids, tenders and quotations, and works closely with Sales, Legal, Finance and Project Management.

Key responsibilities

• Sales commercial management: manage commercial aspects of bids, tenders and quotations, including pricing, profitability, cash flow and negotiations
• Contract management: review, assess and negotiate commercial terms of customer contracts and purchase orders, coordinating with Legal
• Commercial risk management: evaluate and mitigate risks such as liabilities, liquidated damages, payment terms, Bank Guarantees, Letters of Credit and customer credit exposure
• Order management: ensure commercial and contractual readiness for order acceptance and booking, and handover to execution teams
• Support sales forecasting, order intake planning and commercial performance monitoring
• Maintain data quality in SAP and drive process standardization and digitalization

Required profile

• 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in sales commercial management, contract management, commercial finance or commercial project management
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Project Management, Business Administration or a related field
• Experience reviewing and negotiating commercial terms of contracts, tenders and purchase orders
• Fluent English, written and spoken; additional languages are an advantage

Required skills

• CPM certification
• Good practical knowledge of SAP, including sales order processing
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; Power BI and AI productivity tools are an advantage
• Sound financial acumen: pricing, profitability, cash flow, working capital, revenue recognition and financial risk assessment
