Team Leader, Sales (Billing) - Offshore Logistics

About the role

This leadership position drives the efficiency, accuracy and effectiveness of billing and operational support within the Offshore Logistics Business Unit, in line with its objectives, revenue budget and strategy. It coordinates internal teams, stakeholders and clients so that operational processes match business goals and compliance standards. The role works alongside the Manager, Commercial Support and the VP – Commercial to shape policies, procedures and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Business Support team so clients are accurately billed for all services and products according to published tariff rates and deadlines.
• Manage billing cycles consistently with contractual terms and escalate billing issues to the relevant departments.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors to foster long-term partnerships.
• Monitor value realization within Offshore Logistics and ensure invoiced customer deliveries are processed correctly.
• Verify that requested services meet HSE standards, review and approve sales orders, and ensure sales orders and SES are issued on time.
• Review project business cases for financial viability, track monthly charges and advise on savings calculations and business case development.
• Provide regular financial reporting with budgeted and actual expenses, forecasts and trend analysis.
• Collaborate with Finance and Accounting to develop commercial allocation mechanisms and guide the Business Support team on stakeholder queries.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Maritime, Shipping, Business Administration, Finance, Logistics or an equivalent professional qualification.
• At least 8-10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, including at least five years in business support, contract management and commercial services.
• Proven leadership, team building, mentorship and conflict resolution.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle operational and billing challenges proactively.
