Technical Product Owner – Resource Management

About the role

Emirates Group IT is looking for a Technical Product Owner to lead the Resource Management portfolio for dnata. You will act as the voice of the customer, guiding multiple engineering teams from concept through to operation and ensuring the delivery of valuable technology products.

Key responsibilities

• Define story content, acceptance criteria and sign‑off for team backlogs, preparing them for upcoming Program Increments (PIs).
• Capture, refine and prioritize technical debt, non‑functional requirements, BAU, ceremonies and spikes across sprints.
• Own resource planning, rostering and scheduling features for the dnata portfolio.
• Incorporate additional BAU and spike activities into team backlogs while respecting capacity limits.
• Prepare contributions for PI demos and maintain feature quality, risk and dependency visibility.
• Participate in Product Management meetings, especially PI Planning, and define metrics to measure success.

Required profile

• Experience acting as a Technical Product Owner or similar role, managing backlogs and collaborating with engineering teams.
• Ability to partner with business stakeholders and translate customer needs into actionable work.
• Strong focus on delivering value and enabling business objectives from concept to operation.
