About the role
The Al Danah branch of International Community Schools is seeking a motivated Class Teacher for KG and Cycle 1. You will deliver the British curriculum to children aged 3‑7 in a vibrant, international environment.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the British curriculum for KG/Cycle 1.
- Assess, monitor and report on student progress using appropriate data.
- Create a safe, stimulating classroom that supports well‑being and academic growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents and the wider school community.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood or Primary Education.
- PGCE or equivalent leading to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Valid teaching licence from your home country.
- 2‑3 years full‑time teaching experience in KG or Cycle 1, preferably in a British‑curriculum international school.
Required skills
- Proficiency in integrating educational technology into classroom practice.
- Strong classroom management and organisational abilities.
- Effective use of assessment data to inform instruction.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
