Captain Waiter – WSET Level 2/3

About the role

Momofuku Abu Dhabi is seeking experienced Captains and Servers to join the opening team. The role focuses on delivering professional, knowledgeable table service and creating memorable guest experiences in a premium fine‑dining environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the service of an assigned section, coordinating with servers, runners, host/hostess, kitchen and bar to ensure smooth, high‑standard service.
• Provide expert wine and beverage recommendations, explain wine characteristics, and execute professional wine service according to established standards.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of the menu, ingredients, allergens and beverage offerings, and deliver accurate recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Support junior team members through training, coaching and pre‑shift briefings, and assist management with service recovery and guest requests.

Required profile

• Minimum 3–5 years of F&B service experience in premium or fine‑dining restaurants, with previous experience as a Captain, Head Waiter or Senior Server.
• Strong wine and beverage knowledge, backed by a WSET Level 2 or Level 3 certification.
• Excellent English communication skills, polished presentation and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
