Charge Nurse – Community Health Clinic

About the role

Lead clinical excellence at one of Dubai's busiest community health clinics. The Charge Nurse will support day‑to‑day operations, ensure safe patient flow and uphold high standards of care while remaining actively involved in direct patient interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support the nursing team during daily operations, managing staffing, workflow and patient flow.
• Act as a clinical role model, mentor new nurses and oversee onboarding, training and professional development.
• Provide high‑quality nursing care in a multidisciplinary outpatient setting, assisting physicians with consultations, procedures and assessments.
• Ensure compliance with DHA regulations, infection‑prevention standards and documentation quality, participating in audits and accreditation activities.
• Support clinic operations by monitoring supplies, medications, equipment and assisting with incident management.

Required profile

• DHA‑licensed Registered Nurse with a BSN or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of nursing experience and at least 2 years in a senior, team‑leader or charge‑nurse role.
• Experience in outpatient, ambulatory or multispecialty healthcare environments.
• Strong leadership, communication and understanding of clinical governance, patient safety and infection control.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (mandatory).
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (advantageous).
