Consultant Pediatric Nephrologist in Dubai

About the role

We are seeking a highly qualified and compassionate Consultant Pediatric Nephrologist to join a leading hospital in Dubai, providing expert diagnosis, treatment, and long‑term management of kidney diseases in children and adolescents.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of pediatric kidney disorders, including CAKUT, nephrotic/nephritic syndromes, AKI, CKD, hypertension, electrolyte disturbances, glomerular and hereditary renal diseases.
• Manage pediatric dialysis programs (peritoneal and hemodialysis) and coordinate renal transplant evaluations and post‑transplant care.
• Interpret renal imaging, kidney biopsy findings, and specialized laboratory investigations.
• Collaborate with pediatric urologists, intensivists, endocrinologists, radiologists, transplant teams and other specialists.
• Provide education and counseling to patients and families, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and participate in multidisciplinary meetings, quality improvement, teaching and research activities.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and specialty training in Pediatrics with fellowship or board certification in Pediatric Nephrology.
• Western‑trained education and/or clinical experience (UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand or equivalent) and board certification (American Board, Royal College or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years post‑specialisation experience as a Consultant Pediatric Nephrologist in a tertiary or academic hospital.
• Eligibility for a valid DHA, DOH or MOH Consultant licence.
• Demonstrated expertise in complex pediatric renal diseases, dialysis and renal transplantation, with excellent clinical judgment and communication skills.
