About the role
The Luxury Collection Resort in Ajman is seeking a Demi Chef de Partie for its Cold Kitchen. This full‑time position involves preparing high‑quality cold dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting the culinary team during busy periods.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare cold foods, special meals, and substitute items according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills and ensure proper thawing of frozen items.
- Maintain food logs, monitor portion sizes, garnish dishes, and ensure overall food quality.
- Communicate menu specials, out‑of‑stock items, and excess food usage to service staff and chefs.
- Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching of kitchen staff as needed.
Required profile
- Technical, trade or vocational school degree in culinary arts or related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in a cold‑kitchen environment.
- No prior supervisory experience required.
