Digital Content Specialist - Sinyar Graduate Programme (Retail)

About the role

As part of the Sinyar Graduate Programme, Al-Futtaim is recruiting a Digital Content Specialist to join IKEA within its Retail division. The role shapes how customers experience IKEA across digital channels, creating content for campaigns, products and customer communications while giving hands-on exposure to e-commerce, digital marketing and cross-functional collaboration. It suits fresh graduates with a minimum GPA of 2.8, or those with up to 1 year of relevant experience.

Key responsibilities

• Create and optimise customer-facing content for website, app, email, push notifications and WhatsApp, adapting messaging across channels while keeping IKEA's tone of voice.
• Support content planning against trading priorities, content calendars and campaign schedules, and work with Merchandising on global launches, new products, seasonal activities and commercial campaigns.
• Collaborate with Customer Experience, Marketing, Commercial and Digital teams to deliver a consistent customer experience.
• Apply SEO and digital content best practices, use customer insights and performance data to improve content, and monitor content performance to find engagement opportunities.
• Work with internal stakeholders on content aligned with business priorities and support cross-functional projects across digital content, copywriting and customer communication.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related field.
• Minimum GPA of 2.8 or above; fresh graduate or up to 1 year of relevant experience.
• Strong interest in digital content, copywriting and customer engagement.
• Good written communication in English and Arabic.
• Creative, collaborative and eager to learn in a fast-paced digital environment.

Required skills

• Familiarity with SEO, content management systems, Adobe InCopy or InDesign is an advantage.
