Family Medicine Doctor

About the role

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Family Medicine Doctor to deliver comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages. The role involves diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions, providing preventive health services, and promoting overall wellness in a clinic or primary health‑care setting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide primary care to children, adolescents, adults, and elderly patients.
• Conduct consultations, physical examinations, and health assessments.
• Diagnose and manage acute illnesses, chronic diseases, and common medical conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans, monitor progress, and adjust care as needed.
• Deliver preventive care, health education, and lifestyle counseling.
• Order and interpret investigations, perform or coordinate appropriate procedures.
• Prescribe medications in line with clinical guidelines and refer to specialists when required.
• Maintain accurate, confidential, and up‑to‑date patient records.
• Participate in quality improvement, clinical audits, and continuing medical education.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MD, MBBS or equivalent) with a valid license to practice.
• Completion of Family Medicine/General Practice licensing with DHA Dubai.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS may be required.
• Relevant clinical experience in primary or family medicine.
• Strong diagnostic, clinical decision‑making, and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electronic medical records and clinical information systems
