About the role
The Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor ensures that guest rooms, public areas and facilities meet the brand’s quality standards. Working closely with housekeeping and other hotel departments, the supervisor monitors cleaning performance, resolves discrepancies and supports daily operations.
Key responsibilities
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas and pool after cleaning to ensure quality standards.
- Run sold‑room reports, verify room status, identify discrepancies and prioritize cleaning tasks.
- Update room status for departing guests and communicate changes to the next shift.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office and Laundry to resolve issues.
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating and coaching staff.
- Ensure compliance with safety, security and company policies, reporting hazards or incidents.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related housekeeping experience.
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in a hotel or similar environment.
