HR Business Partner Lead – Legal & Compliance

About the role

Bybit is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner Lead to support its global Legal & Compliance unit. You will work closely with the Chief Legal & Compliance Officer and senior leaders to design and execute people strategies that align with regulatory and business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the CLCO and senior leaders across Legal, Compliance, AML, and Financial Crime to provide strategic HR support.
• Translate business priorities and regulatory requirements into workforce planning, organization design, and talent development initiatives.
• Drive performance management, talent reviews, promotions, retention, and leadership development programs.
• Manage complex employee‑relations cases, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and disputes.
• Collaborate with HR COEs and Talent Acquisition on critical hiring, compensation, and organizational changes.
• Leverage HR data to identify talent gaps, organizational risks, and improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• 5+ years of HRBP experience, with a proven track record partnering with senior business leaders.
• Hands‑on experience supporting Legal, Compliance, Risk, AML, or Financial Crime functions, preferably in banking, fintech or cryptocurrency.
• Strong understanding of regulatory environments and specialist talent requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management, able to advise and challenge C‑level executives.
• Commercially minded, analytical, and capable of operating independently.
• Fluent English; Mandarin is a strong advantage.
