HR Compensation and Payroll Specialist

About the role

Dawam Business Solutions is hiring a full-time, on-site HR Compensation and Payroll Specialist in Sheikh Zayed. The specialist manages the compensation structure, administers payroll and ensures compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, working closely with HR, finance and other departments.

Key responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately and on time, including regular salaries, overtime, bonuses, commissions and other compensation
• Review timesheets and attendance records, and resolve employee pay inquiries and discrepancies
• Prepare and file payroll tax returns and other government reports (e.g. IRS filings, EEO-1)
• Help build and maintain the compensation structure through salary benchmarking, market analysis and internal audits
• Administer bonus, commission and incentive programs, and process salary increases and promotions
• Support benefit enrollment, oversee benefit deductions and ensure benefits compliance (e.g. ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA)
• Maintain payroll and compensation records, generate reports and conduct internal payroll audits
• Act as the point of contact for employee compensation and payroll questions and resolve disputes

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, accounting or a related field
• 3-4 years of experience in payroll administration, compensation management or HR, preferably in a mid-to-large organization
• Knowledge of compensation structures, benefits and payroll tax compliance
• Preferred: CPP or similar compensation-related certification
