Kids Club Animator

About the role

Rixos Al Mairid in Ras Al Khaimah is looking for an enthusiastic and creative Kids Club Animator to bring joy to young guests' vacation experiences. You will plan and run age-appropriate activities such as arts and crafts, games, sports and educational programmes, while keeping the club safe and fun.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead a variety of age-appropriate activities, including arts and crafts, games, sports and educational programmes
• Ensure a safe and fun environment for all children in the Kids Club
• Create weekly activity schedules with the team
• Maintain high energy and enthusiasm in all interactions with children and parents
• Help set up, clean up and organise activity areas and equipment
• Monitor children's behaviour and handle issues professionally and with care
• Communicate with parents about their children's experiences and any concerns
• Follow all safety protocols and emergency procedures
• Take part in staff meetings and training sessions
• Help organise and supervise special events and themed activities

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Early Childhood Education, Recreation or a related field is preferred
• Previous experience working with children in a similar role
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus
• Understanding of local culture and customs in the UAE
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays

Required skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children and parents
• Patience and ability to work with children of different ages and backgrounds
• Basic knowledge of child development and safety practices
• First aid certification (or willingness to obtain it)
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and teamwork
