Officer - Technical Talent Sourcing

About the role

The Officer - Sourcing in Abu Dhabi is responsible for end-to-end candidate sourcing and technical talent acquisition, using various channels and ATS systems to build a strong pipeline of qualified candidates. The role works closely with recruiters and hiring managers to meet staffing objectives for specialized technical positions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and run proactive sourcing strategies to find and engage top technical talent through LinkedIn, job boards and networking events
• Headhunt and make direct outreach for hard-to-fill technical roles
• Screen resumes and carry out initial candidate assessments to judge skills and cultural fit
• Manage and optimise the applicant tracking system so candidate records and pipeline visibility stay accurate
• Work with recruiters and hiring managers to refine job requirements and design targeted sourcing campaigns
• Build and maintain a talent pool for current and future hiring needs
• Track and report sourcing metrics and give recommendations to improve hiring effectiveness
• Ensure compliance with company policies, local labour regulations and diversity hiring practices

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in technical talent acquisition and candidate sourcing
• Demonstrated headhunting skills for specialised technical positions
• Experience managing and optimising an applicant tracking system (ATS)
• Strong candidate screening and interviewing abilities
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to handle several requisitions in a fast-paced environment

Preferred qualifications

• Previous recruitment experience in the UAE, especially Abu Dhabi
• Knowledge of local labour laws, visa processes and UAE recruitment practices
• Recruitment or sourcing certifications (e.g. AIRS, LinkedIn Certified Professional)
• Experience with employer branding and candidate engagement
• Fluency in Arabic
