Procurement Executive – Media & Marketing

About the role

The Procurement Executive will lead category and sourcing strategies for Media and Marketing spend across the Al‑Futtaim Group, managing an annual budget of over AED 100 million. The role works closely with Marketing, Finance and Corporate Services to ensure compliance, cost efficiency and value creation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own comprehensive sourcing strategies for Media and Marketing categories, targeting cost savings and service level improvements.
• Lead end‑to‑end sourcing projects, including RFIs, RFPs and RFQs, and select optimal suppliers.
• Manage high‑value supplier relationships and strategic contracts, ensuring commercial and legal protection.
• Monitor procurement compliance, apply risk‑management techniques and drive performance improvement with key vendors.
• Act as a trusted business partner to internal stakeholders and lead a team of Procurement Executives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (post‑graduate qualification or procurement certification is a plus).
• 4‑5+ years of experience in procurement, category management or strategic sourcing, preferably in Marketing/Advertising.
• Proven track record in complex project management, supplier relationship management and contract negotiation.
• Experience coaching or managing junior procurement staff.

Required skills

• Advanced negotiation and category‑strategy development.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power BI and e‑sourcing/ERP systems.
