Procurement Manager

About the role

A leading manufacturing group in the chemicals and industrial goods sector is seeking a highly experienced Procurement Manager to oversee the complete purchasing cycle. The position is based in the Northern Emirates, working Monday to Friday, with a salary of AED 20,000 to 25,000.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, organize and control all procurement activities, and develop purchasing procedures and related instructions.
• Analyze market trends and delivery conditions to support material forecasting and procurement planning.
• Establish vendor evaluation systems covering quality, pricing, delivery and service.
• Design, manage and monitor procurement reporting systems aligned with company standards.
• Source and maintain supplier relationships, ensuring high-quality products and ethical standards.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders and change notices, and review purchase claims for policy compliance.
• Draft and review vendor contracts, proposals and bids, ensuring legal and pricing terms are met.
• Lead procurement from initial purchase intent to final delivery, assign tasks and supervise negotiation of complex supply agreements.
• Improve office procedures and systems to enhance procurement operations.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Supply Chain Management.
• Additional certifications in Procurement or Supply Chain are preferred.
• At least 15 years of procurement experience, ideally in manufacturing (chemicals or industrial goods).
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal skills; strong leadership skills highly desired.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of the SAP MM module is preferred.
