Job description
About the role
DGM Investment, a Dubai-based real estate investment company active since 2015, is hiring a Procurement Officer to support its real estate portfolio, property management and facilities management operations. The role covers end-to-end procurement, from sourcing contractors and negotiating supplier agreements to procuring maintenance materials and ensuring timely delivery of quality goods and services at competitive prices. It reports to the Head of Procurement and is based in Dubai.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the full procurement cycle: receive purchase requests, source and evaluate quotations, issue purchase orders, coordinate deliveries and verify invoices.
- Review purchase requisitions from Facilities Management, Property Management, Engineering and Maintenance, ensuring they are complete, justified, budgeted and approved.
- Develop procurement plans based on preventive maintenance schedules, property projects and urgent repairs, and keep accurate records of purchase orders, quotations and supplier agreements.
- Source materials, equipment and services for residential, commercial and other real estate properties, including HVAC, electrical works, plumbing, civil maintenance, painting, carpentry, waterproofing, fire safety, landscaping, cleaning and pest control.
- Identify contractors and suppliers for maintenance, renovation and refurbishment projects, obtain at least three competitive quotations where possible and negotiate price, payment terms, warranties and service levels.
- Maintain a supplier database, monitor supplier performance and develop alternative sources to reduce vendor dependency.
- Compare quotations against historical purchases, market prices and budgets, negotiate discounts and bulk rates, and consolidate purchasing across properties to improve pricing.
- Monitor procurement spend against approved budgets and ensure all activities follow company policies, approval procedures and budgetary controls.
Required profile
- At least 5 years of experience.
- Strong understanding of the real estate and facilities management industries.
- Commercial awareness, negotiation skills and cost-control capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple procurement requirements across properties and departments.
What we offer
- Competitive salary based on experience, technical knowledge and commercial capabilities.
- UAE employment visa sponsorship.
- Medical insurance.
- Paid annual leave in line with UAE Labour Law and company policy.
