Quality Control - Fresh Fruit & Vegetable Processing

About the role

Marlarmyaing Agrochemical Company Limited is hiring a Quality Control officer for its fresh fruit and vegetable processing line. The role covers inspection of incoming produce, monitoring of processing steps and ensuring products meet quality, safety and hygiene standards.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the quality and freshness of incoming fruits and vegetables.
• Monitor the processing, washing, cutting, sorting and packaging processes.
• Ensure products meet company quality, safety and hygiene standards.
• Conduct quality checks and inspections at different stages of production.
• Identify and report defective, damaged or contaminated products.
• Maintain accurate quality control records, inspection reports and documentation.
• Coordinate with Production and other departments to resolve quality issues and improve product quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Food Science, Food Technology, Agriculture or a related field.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in Quality Control, preferably in food or fresh produce processing.
• Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene and quality control procedures.
• Basic understanding of HACCP, GMP and food quality standards.
• Good observation, inspection and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and prepare quality control reports.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with production teams.
