Robotics Data Collection Vehicle Operator

About the role

You will operate sensor‑equipped vehicles on designated routes across the UAE to support an autonomous‑vehicle data collection program. The role is remote‑based but requires regular travel within the country to perform field operations safely and consistently.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sensor‑equipped vehicles while complying with local traffic laws and project procedures.
• Complete assigned collection routes and schedules provided by the project team.
• Monitor onboard cameras, GPS, and other sensors during each run.
• Perform basic pre‑ and post‑drive equipment inspections and report any issues.
• Maintain accurate daily records of collection activities.
• Assist with setup, handling, and transportation of data‑collection equipment as needed.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and customer teams to ensure smooth execution.

Required profile

• Safety‑conscious, reliable, punctual and professional.
• Comfortable working independently in outdoor and varying weather conditions.
• Detail‑oriented, process‑driven and able to stay calm in dynamic environments.
• Good communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Valid UAE driving license.
• Operation of sensor‑equipped vehicles (SUVs, utility or off‑road vehicles).
• Use of cameras, GPS systems and other data‑collection sensors.
• Basic troubleshooting of vehicle‑mounted equipment.
• Proficiency with smartphones, tablets and related computer applications.
