Russian-Speaking Receptionist - DoubleTree by Hilton Sharjah

About the role

The DoubleTree by Hilton Sharjah Waterfront Hotel and Residences is looking for a full-time Receptionist who speaks Russian. The role goes beyond check-in and check-out: it is about welcoming guests warmly and creating memorable stays.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests on arrival, complete check-in, verify details, assign rooms, issue keys and provide welcome materials or bell service assistance
• Process check-outs by verifying charges, handling payments, issuing receipts and using the point-of-sale system accurately
• Answer guest questions with knowledge of hotel offerings, room types, rates, promotions and local area information
• Use up-selling techniques to recommend hotel amenities and maximise room and service revenue
• Respond to guest requests, resolve concerns promptly and manage messages and communications

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; qualifications in Business Administration, Hospitality or Office Management are an advantage
• Previous or current hotel industry experience is an advantage
• Strong verbal and written communication, customer service and interpersonal skills
• Well-presented, punctual, reliable and able to work independently and in a team

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• General office administration
• Strong organisation, record keeping, appointment management and confidentiality
