Senior Architect – Construction Supervision (ID)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Architect – ID (Construction Supervision) to lead architectural design implementation and construction supervision for large‑scale projects in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all on‑site construction activities, ensuring compliance with approved designs, technical specifications and UAE construction standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits, prepare and review construction documentation, including drawings, specifications and BIM models.
• Manage design‑related issues and change orders in collaboration with contractors, consultants and clients.
• Lead and mentor construction supervision teams, monitor project timelines, budgets and resources, and maintain comprehensive project records.
• Coordinate with local authorities to secure permits and approvals, and develop proactive solutions to mitigate delays and cost overruns.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience supervising and administering architectural works on large‑scale projects in the Middle East consulting sector.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering, Interior Design Architecture or equivalent; professional membership (e.g., PE, CEng) preferred.
• LEED GA or AP certification is a plus.
