Senior Architectural Engineer - High-Rise Specialist

About the role

An experienced Senior Architectural Engineer specializing in high-rise buildings is sought to lead the design and coordination of complex high-rise projects. The role plays a key leadership position within the architectural team, overseeing design development, ensuring regulatory compliance and coordinating multidisciplinary project delivery. It calls for strong technical expertise, leadership and a proven track record in large-scale developments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage architectural design from concept through construction documentation.
• Develop and review detailed drawings, 3D models and design presentations using industry-standard software.
• Ensure designs comply with UAE/local building codes, authority regulations and international best practice.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP and other engineering disciplines for integrated delivery.
• Review and validate construction documentation, shop drawings and material submittals.
• Provide technical guidance during execution and support site teams.
• Mentor and supervise junior architects and engineers.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and regulatory authorities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering (Master's preferred).
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience, including significant work on high-rise or large-scale developments.
• Demonstrated leadership and project management capabilities.
• Preferred: experience in an engineering consultancy, BIM workflow knowledge, and ability to manage several complex projects at once.

Required skills

• AutoCAD, Revit, 3D Max and Photoshop
• In-depth knowledge of UAE building regulations and local authority approval processes
• Excellent communication, coordination and problem-solving skills
