Electrical Site Manager

About the role

Electra is seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager to supervise electrical installation, maintenance, and commissioning activities across workshop and project sites within the GCC. The role ensures safe, efficient execution in line with approved drawings, technical specifications, and project timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of electricians and technicians on‑site and in the workshop, allocating work according to project priorities.
• Oversee electrical installations including temporary and permanent wiring, power distribution, lighting, panels and distribution boards, ensuring compliance with drawings and client requirements.
• Conduct testing, commissioning and troubleshooting of electrical systems, and coordinate with technical and production teams for design clarifications.
• Perform quality checks on completed work, enforce strict safety standards and PPE usage, and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Lead, mentor and train electrical staff, monitor attendance and performance, and promote effective teamwork.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in electrical installation and supervision, preferably in events, exhibitions, fit‑out or construction.
• Proven ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, load schedules and layouts.
• Familiarity with local electrical codes and regulations is preferred.
