Senior Laboratory Technician – Chemistry

About the role

Halliburton is seeking an experienced Senior Laboratory Technician in Chemistry to join its Abu Dhabi facility. The role involves performing routine and non‑routine laboratory tests while adhering to strict safety and chemical hygiene standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory tests following established procedures and select appropriate equipment.
• Operate, calibrate, repair, and maintain laboratory and rig equipment, including pumps and prototype models.
• Perform complex environmental testing using electrical, chemical, and mechanical instrumentation.
• Document test results, collect data, and assist in preparing technical reports.
• Train and mentor lower‑level technicians on safety and testing protocols.

Required profile

• Minimum eight (8) hours of college chemistry education (preferred).
• At least five (5) years of related laboratory testing experience.
• Ability to follow chemical hygiene plans and HSE laboratory safety standards.
