About the role
JA The Resort in Dubai is seeking a Turkish‑national Sous Chef to support the Chef de Cuisine and help deliver authentic Turkish dining experiences in a luxury 5‑star resort environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Chef de Cuisine in managing daily kitchen operations and ensuring high‑quality dish preparation and presentation.
- Lead, mentor and develop kitchen associates while maintaining food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards.
- Act as a hands‑on leader during service, inspiring the team through example and delivering consistent, creative flavours.
Required profile
- Turkish nationality (essential).
- Culinary degree or diploma with a minimum of 8 years culinary experience, including at least 4 years in a luxury 5‑star hotel.
- Minimum 2 years in a Sous Chef‑type role.
- Food Hygiene Certification (PIC Level 3) and strong English communication skills.
Required skills
- Food Hygiene Certification (PIC Level 3).
- Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.
