Station Engineer - Chittagong

About the role

Air Arabia is seeking a Station Engineer to oversee line‑level maintenance of its aircraft and third‑party fleets at its Chittagong station. The role ensures all maintenance work is performed, certified and recorded in line with regulatory and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review assigned maintenance tasks with the Maintenance Manager and MCC Manager to understand priorities, documentation and safety precautions.
• Prepare and execute scheduled aircraft maintenance, securing required parts, tools and ground support equipment.
• Troubleshoot defects and carry out rectifications following Aircraft Maintenance Manuals and engineering instructions.
• Guarantee airworthiness by inspecting, testing and signing off work within authorised limits.
• Communicate status and readiness of aircraft to LSM, flight crew and MCC, providing timely updates.
• Plan work to minimise ground time and avoid operational delays.
• Enforce safety procedures, use protective equipment and manage human‑factor considerations during maintenance.
• Provide internal customer service and support to operational teams, offering technical advice and solutions.

Required profile

• CAR 66 B1 licence or equivalent authorisation for line‑level aircraft maintenance.
• Minimum 60 months (5 years) of relevant maintenance experience.
• Strong understanding of regulatory and Air Arabia maintenance procedures.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Aircraft Maintenance Manuals.
• Competent use of Microsoft Office applications.
