Stock Assistant – Retail Warehouse Operations

About the role

We are seeking a reliable and organised Stock Assistant to support accurate handling and movement of stock in a fast‑paced retail environment. You will work closely with warehouse, operations and retail teams to ensure products are available and ready for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Receive deliveries, check stock against delivery notes and purchase records, and report any discrepancies.
• Label, scan and record stock using the relevant systems, and store products safely in designated locations.
• Pick, pack and prepare stock for transfers, customer orders or other operational needs.
• Assist with regular stock counts, inventory checks and investigations into discrepancies.
• Maintain clean, tidy and organised stockrooms while following health, safety and security procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a stockroom, warehouse, retail or inventory role is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work flexible shifts, including weekends or public holidays.
• Physical ability to stand, walk and move stock for extended periods and safely lift items.
