Key responsibilities

• Take immediate manual control when prompted by the system or when a safety situation arises, and log all events, interventions, and observations accurately.
• Complete defined validation routes, record detailed takeover events, and document road conditions or infrastructure anomalies.
• Perform thorough pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections, report any issues, and ensure the vehicle is clean, charged or fueled before departure.

Required profile

• Valid UAE driving licence with a clean record and at least 3 years of active driving experience in the UAE or GCC.
• Professional‑level English (read, write, speak) for clear communication and reporting.
• Calm under pressure with the ability to make rapid, correct decisions in unexpected situations.
• High attention to detail for checklists, logs, and verbal reporting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with tablets, touch‑screen interfaces and onboard software systems.
• Experience using digital logging tools and fleet management applications.
• Ability to follow structured validation protocols and communicate effectively with remote operations teams.
