Vice President of PR and Communications

About the role

We are seeking a Vice President of PR and Communications to lead the corporate communications function for a premier financial hub in Dubai. You will develop and execute internal and external communication strategies, drive thought leadership, and manage media relations to enhance global visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive internal and external communications strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Oversee daily operations of external PR, employee communications, social media, and content creation.
• Build messaging architectures and manage spokesperson matrices for senior executives.
• Drive global thought leadership initiatives such as op‑eds, white papers, and speeches.
• Establish and maintain media relations across local, regional, and international outlets.
• Mentor internal communications managers, social media teams, copywriters, and external agencies.
• Set performance metrics and use web analytics to refine campaign reach and engagement.
• Ensure consistent brand voice across all corporate materials and digital channels.

Required profile

• 6–8 years of progressive marketing communications experience, including at least 4 years in a management role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Journalism or related field.
• Proven expertise in content creation, media outreach, and strategic messaging for global markets.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; Arabic fluency preferred.
• Ability to advise executive leadership and build stakeholder partnerships.

Required skills

• Experience with web analytics and data‑driven campaign performance tracking.
