Marketing Manager

About the role

As the Marketing Manager for the UAE market, you will lead brand awareness initiatives and build a high‑quality lead funnel. You will develop localized strategies, manage public relations, support dealer marketing, and oversee budget efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual marketing plans aligned with global guidelines.
• Collaborate with regional teams on events, exhibitions, media campaigns, digital marketing and lifestyle partnerships.
• Build relationships with local media, press, agencies, KOLs and influencers; handle PR issues and crisis communication.
• Supervise dealer marketing plans, provide guidance and monitor performance.
• Conduct market research, analyze trends, competitor activity and campaign performance.
• Manage the marketing budget to maximize ROI.
• Act as brand ambassador at key industry events and networking opportunities.
• Ensure all marketing assets are localized, culturally relevant and compliant with BYD CI guidelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of marketing communications experience, preferably in the automotive OEM sector.
• Strong understanding of the UAE market, consumer behavior and media landscape.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a strong advantage, Chinese a plus.
• Proven ability to work across multicultural, cross‑functional teams.
