Video Editor & Producer for AI-Powered Performance Ads

About the role

PetLab Co. seeks a fast‑paced Video Editor and Producer to create AI‑driven performance ads for Meta, TikTok and YouTube. You’ll turn briefs into high‑volume, conversion‑focused video ads and help shape the creative strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Edit short‑form video ads, write hooks, add captions, sound design and CTAs, and export in multiple aspect ratios for rapid media‑buyer deployment.
• Write direct‑response scripts, pitch new concepts, and adapt winning scripts into testable variations.
• Generate AI video assets, avatars, voiceovers and localized versions using tools such as Veo, Kling, Runway, HeyGen and ElevenLabs.
• Produce multiple ad variations, conduct structured A/B tests, review performance metrics and iterate to improve results.

Required profile

• 4+ years of video editing experience, with at least 2 years focused on paid social ads for DTC or e‑commerce brands.
• Proven track record of creating AI‑powered ads that deliver measurable ROAS, CPA and scaled spend.
• Strong written and spoken English and ability to present ideas to a global team.
• Experience in fast‑moving, feedback‑heavy creative teams at high‑growth brands or agencies.

Required skills

• Expertise in Premiere Pro and/or CapCut; knowledge of After Effects, DaVinci Resolve or motion graphics is a plus.
• Daily use of AI video tools (Veo, Kling, Runway, Higgsfield, HeyGen, Arcads, ElevenLabs).
• Understanding of performance metrics (Hook Rate, Hold Rate, CTR, CPA, ROAS) and how editing choices affect them.

• Salary range $220,000‑$260,000 (including bonus)
