Assistant Manager - Outlet

About the role

Park Hyatt Dubai is looking for an Assistant Manager - Outlet to support the day-to-day operations of its restaurant and deliver exceptional guest experiences. The role covers service delivery, team leadership and operational excellence, and helps meet departmental goals for guest satisfaction, revenue performance, employee engagement and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Support the overall management of the outlet and lead, supervise and motivate the team to high guest satisfaction and operational excellence.
• Monitor service standards across all meal periods and handle guest feedback, complaints and service recovery promptly.
• Run daily briefings, training sessions and on-the-job coaching, and assist with staffing, rosters, attendance and productivity.
• Work with culinary and beverage teams, and monitor performance, cleanliness, presentation and guest feedback to drive continuous improvement.
• Support financial objectives through cost control, revenue enhancement, upselling and efficient resource use.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, luxury brand standards, hygiene, food safety and health and safety procedures.
• Assist with inventory, operating supplies, equipment maintenance and stock requisition; oversee reservations, VIP requirements, special events and private dining.
• Prepare operational reports and recommendations, and stay visible and engaged with guests during peak periods.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of Food & Beverage experience, including at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role in a luxury hospitality setting.
• Proven leadership, team development and employee engagement skills.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, cost control, inventory management and revenue optimization.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and organizational skills, able to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
