Waiter - Restaurant in Dubai

About the role

Apt Resources is recruiting a professional waiter for a reputable restaurant in Dubai. The waiter is the face of the restaurant, providing exceptional service to guests and ensuring an enjoyable dining experience by taking orders, serving food and beverages and attending to customer needs promptly and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and seat guests in a courteous and professional manner
• Present menus, explain daily specials and give recommendations
• Take accurate food and drink orders and pass them on to the kitchen and bar staff
• Serve food and beverages promptly and make sure guests are satisfied
• Keep the dining area clean and organised
• Process payments and handle cash or card transactions accurately
• Work with the team to keep service running smoothly
• Follow all health and safety regulations

Required profile

• Proven experience as a waiter in a restaurant
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or a related field
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays

Required skills

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work well in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and a friendly, approachable manner
