Assistant Manager, Special Events

About the role

Atlantis Dubai, part of Kerzner International, is hiring an Assistant Manager, Special Events for Atlantis The Royal. You will support the day-to-day management of special events operations, overseeing event setups, service delivery and logistics so that every function meets the highest luxury hospitality standards. The role works closely with internal teams and event stakeholders, leading and motivating colleagues and coordinating operational requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee event setups, service delivery and logistics for special events
• Ensure venues, equipment and service areas are prepared for successful event execution
• Maintain outstanding service, operational excellence and guest satisfaction, from intimate celebrations to large-scale events
• Lead and motivate colleagues and coordinate operational requirements with event stakeholders

Required profile

• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or restaurant; pre-opening experience is an advantage
• Outgoing, confident and articulate, with strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure
• Passionate about the food and beverage industry, with energy, creativity and a proactive approach

Required skills

• Business administration skills, including Microsoft Office
• POS systems and restaurant reservation platforms
• P&L awareness, food and beverage cost control and inventory management
• Understanding of global market trends
