Car Polisher

About the role

We are looking for a Car Polisher to join DP World’s fleet maintenance team in the United Arab Emirates. The role involves restoring vehicle exteriors to a high shine using both manual and machine techniques while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Perform polishing, buffing, and waxing on vehicle exteriors using manual and machine tools.
• Inspect vehicles for scratches, swirl marks, oxidation, and paint imperfections before and after polishing.
• Apply polishing compounds, waxes, and protective coatings as required.
• Mask delicate areas to prevent damage during the polishing process.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper handling of polishing tools, pads, and equipment.
• Report any paint or body issues to the supervisor.
• Follow safety procedures and wear protective gear at all times.
• Assist with basic detailing tasks such as washing, drying, and vacuuming when needed.
• Complete work within required time frames while maintaining quality standards.

Required profile

• At least 1 month of experience in vehicle polishing or related detailing work.
• No specific qualifications required.
