Construction Manager

About the role

An experienced, results-driven Construction Manager is sought to oversee construction projects from planning through completion. The role covers site operations, coordination of contractors and consultants, quality and safety compliance, and delivery on time, within budget and to the required standards. A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in the UAE market is required.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, manage and supervise all construction activities from mobilization to handover.
• Develop and monitor project schedules and manage budgets and costs.
• Coordinate consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams.
• Review drawings, specifications, method statements, shop drawings and material submittals, and enforce compliance with approved drawings, UAE authority requirements and company standards.
• Enforce HSE policies, conduct site inspections, progress meetings and quality checks, and prepare progress and site reports.
• Manage manpower, equipment and materials, resolve site issues and support procurement and commercial teams.
• Maintain documentation, records and handover requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of proven construction experience in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction practices, authority approvals and local regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents.
• Valid UAE driving licence preferred.

Required skills

• Project planning, quality control, cost control and HSE requirements.
• Leadership, communication, negotiation and problem-solving.
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of Primavera P6, MS Project or AutoCAD is an advantage.
