Construction Manager (MEP)

About the role

The Construction Manager (MEP) leads the planning, coordination and execution of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, ELV and Fire & Life Safety works on large‑scale industrial, commercial, logistics, infrastructure and high‑rise projects. You will ensure safe delivery, on‑time completion and compliance with quality, HSE and regulatory standards from mobilisation through commissioning and hand‑over.

Key responsibilities

• Lead MEP construction activities in line with approved drawings, specifications and project schedules.
• Manage site engineers, supervisors and subcontractors, monitor daily progress and implement recovery plans when needed.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, architectural and planning teams; attend client and consultant meetings to resolve technical issues.
• Oversee RFIs, shop‑drawing coordination and interface activities.
• Plan manpower deployment, monitor labour productivity and ensure timely procurement and delivery of long‑lead materials and equipment.
• Enforce HSE regulations, permit‑to‑work systems and project safety procedures; implement ITPs, method statements and QA/QC inspections.
• Drive testing, commissioning, authority inspections and preparation of as‑built drawings, O&M manuals and close‑out documentation.
• Prepare regular progress reports, KPI updates and maintain risk registers and project documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 12–15 years of MEP construction experience, including at least 5 years as a Construction Manager.
• Proven experience on industrial, warehouse, logistics, commercial or infrastructure projects in the UAE/GCC.
• PMP certification is an advantage.
