Director, Product Marketing - Roaming & Premium Numbers

About the role

The role leads the revenue growth, profitability and strategic positioning of the Roaming business, with a strong focus on eSIM and travel eSIM experiences, digital enablement and seamless customer journeys. It covers product innovation, pricing, partnerships and lifecycle management, and leads cross-functional collaboration across Commercial, Wholesale, Technology, Digital, CX, Finance and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Roaming business and its P&L, defining and executing the roaming strategy and roadmap
• Drive the end-to-end eSIM roaming experience, from discovery and purchase to activation, usage, recharge and support
• Develop travel eSIM propositions (country, regional and global) and roaming products such as Roam Like Home, daily and monthly packs, country-specific offers, multi-country propositions and data passes
• Ensure a digital-first roaming journey across the e& app and other channels, and resolve customer pain points such as network selection, activation, billing and support
• Manage roaming product lifecycle, from concept and business case through launch, optimization and retirement
• Develop pricing, promotions and monetization strategies, and work with Wholesale on commercial agreements and preferred network steering
• Collaborate with Technology, IT, Digital, CX and Network teams on technical integration, provisioning and service performance
• Drive automation and personalization using customer behavior, travel patterns and analytics, and increase roaming penetration among silent roamers
• Proactively communicate across the travel journey and monitor performance against KPIs such as revenue, profitability, penetration, attach rate, conversion, eSIM adoption and NPS
• Present business cases and product recommendations to senior and C-level management, and build and lead a high-performing roaming team

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Management or Telecom
• 12-14 years of work experience in Telecom
