Finance Manager

About the role

An experienced Finance Manager is sought to lead accounting, financial reporting and financial planning, driving financial performance and supporting sound decision-making through strong analytical and numerical expertise.

Key responsibilities

• General finance operations: run the finance department smoothly, liaise with suppliers, banks, auditors, senior management and department heads, record transactions accurately and on time, review balances and reconciliations, maintain the fixed assets register, set accounting policies and monitor new standards.
• Accounts receivable: ensure accurate billing and receipt recording, oversee timely booking and reporting, and follow up on payments.
• Accounts payable: lead the AP function, review outstanding invoices weekly, resolve vendor disputes, sign cheques within delegated authority and manage petty cash.
• Accounting and financial reporting: prepare financial statements, manage external audits, handle stakeholder cash calls, prepare monthly management and shareholder reports, and design internal MIS and business review reporting templates.
• Cost reporting: prepare and review project cost reports and oversee variation order reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting.
• Professional accounting qualification (CA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
• 10-15 years of finance experience in real estate development or construction.
• 5+ years in a managerial role.
• Proven financial and business acumen, experience leading a large, complex financial portfolio, and exposure to investment, real estate and emerging sectors.
