Head of HR Operations

About the role

Drive and manage HR Operations across ADIB Group, overseeing the planning and management of the HR Ops organization that supports employees in all geographies. Provide strategic direction, implement innovative HR practices, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Advise business groups and Group Heads on staff operations and employee relations issues.
• Manage UAE and GCC pension funds, UAE Central Bank, and National Service matters, ensuring compliance with guidelines and laws.
• Oversee local and international medical and life insurance schemes for the group.
• Provide recommendations and guidelines to HR units on regulator inquiries.
• Support ADIB International Branches with HR matters upon request.
• Lead redesign, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of HR Operations processes.
• Coordinate with HR Management to develop HR strategy and solutions related to operations.
• Ensure high‑quality delivery of services, controls, and application of policies and procedures.
• Drive automation of HR Operations functions and enhance processes.
• Manage HR Operations budget and cost within approved limits.
• Write and redesign HR policies and procedures.
• Handle individual grievances and fraud investigation cases with the Head of Fraud Investigations.
• Maintain relationships with UAE pension fund officials, Ministry of Labor, Central Bank, National Service, and bank HR managers.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Employee Relations.
• UAE Nationality required.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to professional ethics and diversity.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of UAE labor regulations, pension fund rules, and banking HR policies.
• Experience in HR policy development and process automation.
