About the role
Dr Scent is looking for a Perfumer to join its team at the head office, leading scent formulation, driving R&D innovation and overseeing lab operations to support its growing global presence. The role suits a passionate fragrance specialist with strong olfactory skills and technical expertise.
Key responsibilities
- Create and refine innovative fragrance formulations, from concept to final specifications.
- Oversee laboratory operations, raw material quality control and multi-site inventory.
- Research and implement emerging scent technologies such as encapsulation and ActiMoods.
- Work directly with key suppliers and clients on bespoke fragrance projects.
- Lead new product launches and deliver technical training to sales teams and international agents.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, perfumery or a related field.
- Proven track record as a Perfumer with lab and operations experience.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English, spoken and written, is mandatory.
- Flexibility for frequent domestic and international travel.
Required skills
- Highly developed olfactory sense and creative formulation talent.
- Strong organizational skills and technical expertise in aroma compounds.
