About the role
The Mechanic (Coiled Tubing) is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing rotating equipment and machinery in an oil and gas environment.
Key responsibilities
- Perform routine, preventive and predictive maintenance checks and tests on machinery according to schedules.
- Execute corrective maintenance by dismantling, assembling, and replacing components to restore equipment.
- Conduct new installations, modifications, and assist with start‑up and shutdown of critical equipment.
- Participate in annual shutdowns or major turnarounds and coordinate removal of equipment for workshop repairs.
Required profile
- Technical Diploma or secondary school certificate with a vocational trade certificate.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in heavy equipment mechanical repairs within the oil/gas industry or power plants.
Required skills
- Mechanical repair of rotating equipment and heavy machinery.
- Preventive and predictive maintenance techniques.
- Ability to perform tests, performance monitoring, and report deviations.
