Production Assembler

About the role

The Production Assembler is responsible for the precise assembly of advanced turbine and propulsion system components, including micro‑jet and turbofan engine parts. Working to strict aerospace and industrial standards, the role ensures each product meets safety, reliability and performance requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Execute assembly operations according to the production schedule and daily targets.
• Perform mechanical and electronic assembly of turbine and propulsion components using engineering drawings, work instructions and assembly procedures.
• Carry out fine alignment, fitment, torque‑controlled fastening and adjustments to meet defined tolerances.
• Handle delicate parts with care to avoid damage during assembly and movement.
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections during and after assembly to verify compliance.
• Apply high‑quality assembly practices to maximise yield and minimise rework or scrap.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO standards and internal quality procedures.
• Record assembly data, inspection results and non‑conformance reports in production systems.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised work area following health, safety and lean manufacturing principles.

Required profile

• Diploma, technical certification or equivalent hands‑on experience in mechanical, electrical, electronic or industrial assembly.
• Proven experience in aerospace, industrial or precision‑assembly environments.
• Hands‑on experience with electronic and fine mechanical assembly processes.
• Familiarity with IPC‑A‑610 standards and electronic workmanship requirements.
• Working knowledge of AS9100, ISO quality standards and controlled manufacturing environments.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, assembly instructions and engineering documentation.
