Project Coordinator – EPC Projects

About the role

The Project Coordinator will act as the central hub for EPC project activities, linking end users, third‑party contractors and the Projects Division. You will organise resources, track material flow and ensure projects progress smoothly to completion and close‑out.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preliminary scheduling of major projects together with Planning Engineers and Project Managers.
• Monitor material, asset movements and work progress, providing regular updates.
• Support Project Managers on‑site with correspondence, system issues and coordination with IT personnel.
• Visit workshops and warehouses to verify repair status, spare availability and receipt of project items.
• Prepare annual budget requirements, resource allocation and activity scheduling.
• Coordinate with contractors to ensure timely task completion and compliance with warranty conditions.
• Order materials, compile spare‑parts lists and initiate service procurement after scope finalisation.
• Maintain tendering processes in SAP, including work order preparation, bid invitations and evaluation.
• Prepare change‑order review forms and obtain internal approvals.
• Update weekly reports on material and service status, organise logistics and manage inventory at shipyards.
• Record and report weight‑control data throughout project execution.

Required profile

• Diploma (minimum qualification).
• At least 5 years of experience in project coordination, preferably within EPC or construction environments.
• Proven ability to work with contractors, manage logistics and support project teams.
• Professional certifications relevant to project management or engineering (as applicable).

Required skills

• SAP (Project System Module, Plant Maintenance).
