QC Document Controller

About the role

We are looking for an experienced QC Document Controller to manage and maintain QA/QC documentation, records, submissions and tracking systems for major construction and infrastructure projects in Dubai. The role involves close coordination with QA/QC teams, site engineers, consultants, subcontractors and project management to ensure timely and accurate document handling.

Key responsibilities

• Control, submit, track and update all QA/QC documents through Aconex and other project document control systems.
• Maintain registers, logs and correspondence, ensuring every submission, revision and approval is properly recorded.
• Distribute approved drawings, specifications, method statements, ITPs, inspection requests, NCRs, MIRs, test reports and other quality documents.
• Follow up with engineers, consultants and subcontractors on pending submissions, comments and closures.
• Prepare document status reports, submission trackers and support internal/external audits.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Document Control, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 3 + years of QA/QC Document Control experience in construction, contracting or engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction documentation processes, numbering, revision control and transmittals.
• UAE/GCC construction experience is an advantage.

Required skills

• Aconex document management.
• Handling of IRs, MIRs, NCRs, ITPs, Method Statements and Test Reports.
• Material Approvals and QA/QC dossiers preparation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
• Document numbering, revision control, transmittals and filing systems.
