QC Inspector – Painting & Insulation

About the role

The QC Inspector will lead quality management for painting and insulation works on EPC projects, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and implement the site quality management system and execution plan.
• Conduct internal audits, sampling inspections and manage NCRs with clients and subcontractors.
• Develop and deliver quality training, monitor performance indicators and drive corrective actions.
• Prevent cost of poor quality through proactive risk identification and control of rework.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of QA/QC inspection experience on medium to large oil, gas, petrochemical or power plant projects in the GCC.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management standards.
• Welding certification: AWS CWI, TWI CL CSWIP 3.1 WI or equivalent.
• Mechanical inspection certifications: API 510, API 570, API 653.
• Coating certification: SAEP‑316 Level II (NACE CIP, SSPC PCI, or equivalent).
• Non‑destructive testing: ASNT Level II.
