Retention Marketing Manager

About the role

The Retention Marketing Manager will lead customer lifecycle and retention initiatives for Meals on Me, a healthy meal‑plan subscription service. This data‑driven role focuses on CRM execution, analytics, segmentation and cross‑functional collaboration to boost engagement, reduce churn and increase customer lifetime value.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute retention strategies across onboarding, abandonment, cross‑sell, reactivation and churn‑prevention stages.
• Plan, launch and optimise targeted CRM campaigns via email, push notifications, WhatsApp and SMS.
• Manage automated lifecycle journeys for inactive or at‑risk customers.
• Track CRM and sales‑funnel metrics, providing insights to improve lead nurturing and engagement.
• Analyse customer behaviour, churn and CLV metrics; produce regular performance dashboards.
• Identify early signs of disengagement, coordinate churn‑prevention actions and feed feedback to product and support teams.
• Segment audiences and personalise messaging based on lifecycle stage and behaviour.
• Collaborate closely with marketing, sales, product and customer service to ensure consistent communication.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• Proven experience in retention, lifecycle or CRM marketing, preferably in subscription, e‑commerce or food‑service environments.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; capable of working independently in a remote setting.
