Senior Medical Representative – Pediatrics

About the role

Abbott is seeking a Senior Medical Representative focused on paediatric products to join its Established Pharmaceuticals division in the UAE. You will drive sales growth, build strong relationships with healthcare professionals, and act as a scientific and business liaison for Abbott’s branded generic portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and conduct appointments and meetings with healthcare professionals (HCPs) across the assigned geographic area.
• Present and demonstrate Abbott’s paediatric and other EPD products, addressing both scientific and business needs.
• Develop and maintain strong business relationships with customers, ensuring consistent market presence.
• Plan and execute weekly and monthly activity schedules with clear KPIs.
• Provide regular market feedback and identify new business opportunities while protecting existing accounts.

Required profile

• Educational qualification in pharmaceutical or medical science.
• 2‑3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience in the UAE market; paediatric experience preferred.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
